On the 23rd of March 2023 at 10:30 am, Starspur collaborated with the Sun Love Day Activity Centre Seniors in Eunos for a heartwarming Food Distribution event. With 5 dedicated volunteers and a turnout of 15 to 20 participants, the goal was simple yet profound: to provide tasty and nutritious meals to needy senior residents.

The event kicked off with volunteers packing lunches at the centre, ensuring that each meal was filled with love and care. By 11 am, volunteers hit the streets, distributing meal packs to all those in need.

The outcome was inspiring. Not only did seniors benefit from the warm meal packs, but families in the community also found solace in the nourishing food provided. Each package served as a beacon of compassion, reminding recipients that they are not alone in their struggles.

For volunteers, the takeaway was immeasurable. Witnessing the impact of their efforts firsthand, they poured their hearts into the endeavor, driven by a collective desire to uplift those who are struggling and share in the joy they bring.
